Any individual or business entity intending to start or continue a trade, profession, or business within the jurisdiction of Karbi Anglong District is eligible to apply for a Trade Licence. This includes shop owners, traders, manufacturers, service providers, and other commercial establishments.
To apply for a Trade Licence, you will need the following documents:
  • Proof of ownership (Building permit, OC, Jamabandi, Lease/Rent agreement)
  • Proof of Identification (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Driving Licence, Passport, PAN Card, Ration Card)
  • Passport size photograph
The processing time for an online Trade Licence application typically takes between 7 to 14 working days, provided all the submitted documents are in order. However, the timeline may vary depending on the workload and the specific requirements of the district authorities.
  1. Log in to the online portal using your credentials.
  2. Navigate to the "Renew Licence" section.
  3. Verify your details and update any information if necessary.
  4. Upload any required documents for renewal.
  5. Pay the renewal fee online.
  6. Submit your application.
  7. Once approved, you can download the renewed Trade Licence.
The Licence application fee can be paid online through the following steps:
  1. After filling out your application and uploading the necessary documents, proceed to the payment section.
  2. Choose a payment method (credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI).
  3. Complete the payment process.
  4. Save or print the payment receipt for your records.
